Who Is J.K. Rowling? Joanne Rowling, who goes by the pen name J.K. Rowling, is a British author and screenwriter best known for her seven-book Harry Potter children's book series. The series has sold more than 450 million copies and was adapted into a blockbuster film franchise.  Rowling was living in Edinburgh, Scotland, and struggling to get by as a single mom before her first book, Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone, was published in 1997. Background In the ancient Greek religion and myth, Artemis is the goddess of the hunt, the wilderness, wild animals, the Moon, and chastity. On this particular event, we adapt the name Artemis as the title of our event. Artemis is an expedition-based competition in which participants need to complete all challenges given in each point in a group consist of 5 people. Participants are all required to build firm teamworking, clear communication, and master a fair amount of information about Greek Mythology, Renassaince Art, Romantic Art and Sculpture.
